Terms of Use
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Who Pays? mobile app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The game is for fun
Who Pays? is an entertainment app that randomly or playfully selects a person to "pay the bill." Results are for amusement only. The app does not handle, transfer, or process any real money between players, and its selections are not a binding agreement about who owes what. Settle your bills however you like in real life.
Acceptable use
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
- Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app.
- Only enter names and information you have the right to use. You are responsible for the content you type in.
Premium purchase
The app offers an optional one-time Premium unlock that enables additional game modes and features. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Premium is a non-consumable purchase: it can be restored on devices signed in to the same Apple account using "Restore purchase."
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies. We are unable to issue App Store refunds directly.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will suit any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including, with a wink, any actual bills you end up paying.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
